Step 1: Casting the Live Experience

To begin, you must set up your space with the ability to cast your screen so you can share what you see inside the VR simulation environment. Viewers will be able to see your complete demonstration and hear the patient's responses. To learn how to cast your VR headset onto a screen, you can go to our casting article.

Step 2: Prebriefing the Experience

It is recommended that you share an applicable scenario to describe the key objectives of the NIHSS assessment. There are various ways to share a prebriefing experience:

1) Interactive Group Discussion

2) Prebriefing Video

3) Prebriefing Document

Step 3: Demonstrate NIHSS Assessment using Virtual Reality

Demonstrating numerous skills in Tactile VR's Nursing Simulation platform is life-like. So, you do not have to imagine any additional to what it is really like assessing a patient with a neurological disorder such as a stroke. You may show the students common signs and symptoms and explain it in real time for optimal application of knowledge.
